Mood Board

For the music video I wish to construct I am aiming to contrast the juxtaposing ideas of the past and the present. Within a postmodern society, childhood is constructed where the child are central to the family, however violence, abuse and drug misuses are central factors to why childhood is cut short. Within my music video I am aiming to explore these ideas and how families can be isolated from each other once one of their family members fall into crime, drugs or financial difficulties. Homelessness is a prevalent issue in Britain and has had a 75% increase since the Conservative government were elected in 2010. Owing to this I am aiming to construct as narrative which shows a realistic story around how people become homeless and how their lives are change dramatically but owing to the laissez faire attitudes of a postmodern British society many who fall into homelessness are unable to escape it, creating a dire situation for themselves which understandable cause damaging mental health and physical health issues.
