The target audience for my music video are sophisticated 16-24, AB demographic. My music video will be constructed to a young cosmopolitan, left wing audience, who will both sympathise and recognise both the enjoyment and struggles between the transition from childhood into adulthood and the subsequent social and economic difficulties this can bring on individuals that impact an entire family. Owing to the current political climate with Brexit dominating the social-economic policy the government have turned a blind eye to the dire social issue within this country which has led to a 75% increase of the number of homeless people since 2010, when the Conservatives came to power. I purposely chose to target a younger audience as I believe,  from both my own personal experience and issue that are raised via the news and social media I will be able to construct a suitable and appealing music video that both engages and allows audiences to sympathise with others.
